L.I.F.E - Chapter 1-A. 壹章-甲
AGIS. The world first space elevator station. Build to self sustain and to house 30 thousand human.
"Good morning E526." says E431
"Morning."
"Another day of boredom, someday I am going to get out from this piece of junk, with me E256?"
"Right，like there is somewhere better than here." Answered E526.
AGIS.世界首个太空电梯站。其设计是可以自我维持及容纳3.0万人。
“早安E526。”E431说道
“早。”
“又是无聊的一天，总有一天我要离开这垃圾地方，是吧E256 ？”
“貌似有地方比这里更好? ”回答E526 。
E526 is a officer of the Center of Information Control. Known as CIC.
The job is simple, filter all the passage of information based on keyword and phrases.
This keep the media and individual out of harmful information.
The deal is, any individual that work under CIC is strictly prohibited to make contact with other people.
E526是一位“信息控制中心”的官员。被称为CIC官员。
这项工作很简单，过滤所有的信息基于关键字和词组。
这避免让媒体或个人接触有害信息。
但同时，任何CIC官员严格被禁止与外人接触。
"How long have we been working here?" Ask E431 also a CIC officer.
"2 years tomorrow."
"Kinda miss the outside world."
As a CIC officer we have access to all the information of the world. But not our life before CIC.
Officer also strip of their previous name, given code as reference.

L.I.F.E - Epilogue序章
While getting up from bed, E526 was feeling different from usual.
"Tired." Was the first though of E526.
It was the 10000th day that E526 woke up.
"Must have been the nightmare I had last night."
"累."是E526起床的感觉。
这是E526第10000度醒觉。
“都是昨晚噩梦的错”
As E526 sit beside the bed, the SAVANT on E526 wrist greet with a schedule for the day.
"Good morning, today schedule is packed. Would you like to review the schedule?"
"Tell me in 10 minutes time."
"Yes master, reminder set in 10 minutes time."
Walking into the auto-wash machine for the morning clean up, then to the nutrition fabricator for the first meal of the day, all of these just plain... boring.
E526坐在床边，腕上的SAVANT传来的请安。
“早上好，今天的行程可是忙碌。您可要审查行程？”
“十分钟后。”
“好的，十分钟后提示。”
走进自动清洗器，再吃营养仿制器的早餐，这一切都是。。无聊
"Master, reminder for item [review daily schedule]."
"Go ahead with the review"
"Information Control Center in 20 minutes time is the next item. You have a scheduled meeting with B112 at 1200 hour, You have a...." SAVANT continue with the schedule.
It seem like the schedule have not changed as long as E526 remember.
"Why should I need a review for that?" Mumbled E526.
Going to work is a routine as well.
“主人，提醒项目[审查行程] 。 ”
“来吧！审查”
“在20分钟内到达信息控制中心是下一个项目。您已经排定与B112在1200小时会面，您有 ... ”SAVANT 继续时间表。
这行程在E526看起来是没有改变。
“我为什么需要审查？ ”E526 喃喃自语。
去工作也是例行的。
"Identification please."

E526 scanned with a series of biometric scanner. DNA, iris, finger print to name a few.
The newest security method is aura.
The security are tighter than before. Before the war, before the plague, before human was free.
"Welcome to station AGIS. You are clear to enter."

E526被一系列生物识别扫描仪扫描。有DNA ，虹膜，指纹等等。
最新的保安方法是灵气。
保安是比以前更加严格。在战前，在瘟疫前，在人类还有自由前。

Sushi King = 输死king?
It was that time of the year, when everyone is holding a precious card that actually a ticket to severely reduced price sushi. IT'S SUSHI KING RM2 BONANZA!!! everything on the belt is selling for RM2.
This tradition started way back, at least 10 years ago. That period, the promotion will be held at least 2 times per year. Since it has gain its popularity the sushi king decided it is time to suck more money, so they reduced the period to 4 days, and once per year . Shame on them.
This year, as usual, I wanted to be a part of it, since my sushi king card is with Frida, I can only hope to "Tumpang" other's card. K'king has a card, so we decided to go for it after work with S'Khan, SAM, and L'Wen. We journey from bayan lepas to egate, shock to see the crowd is nearly blocking the shop from sight. So decided since we have gone this far, might as well go down town to pragin mall's sushi king. When we reach there, there is'nt much people as we expected. After 3-4 group of people, we are officially in. Thus start the feeding frenzy.
After several round of chaos, most of us are full. They even served sushi on large plate going form table to table to make sure all customer get some of the expensive item (Unagi, Ebi, Sake).
Suddenly I decided i should arrange all the color plate in order so the waitress can easily count them. After i finished the arrangement, the waitress just come over, but without counting, it TOOK THE PLATE AWAY. We are shocked, which mean that all those plate are not been recorded in the bill. It seem like the waitress misunderstood that the plate has already been counted (thats why it is in order) and been recorded. SCRAM!!!! that is the only thing that came into my mind. So we ask another waitress to count the remaining plate, and off we go!!!!
The bill come out as RM60 with taxes. But if I counted correctly, we have eaten more than 40 plates, close to 50 !!!
Wahaha, we have scammed sushi king 1 more time.

Stupidity in Technologies
Its been quite a while since I updated this blog. Being a lazy bump with so many things to distract me.
Yesterday I have fed-up with my 1 year old DVD/CD-ROM/RAM multi burner. It has been "under-perform" for quite some months since. It is now burning a 4.5GB disk at 30 minutes per disk!!! What is happening?!?! At least the damn box advertised it was a 16x DVD burning, which is true when i started using it, it took under 10 minutes for a 4.5GB disk to complete.
So I went to my good pals asking for question. Google return some interesting answer. Certain article pointing to a copy protection program called "StarForce". Which will reduce the DVD-ROM speed and at certain point, render the drive unusable. Wikipedia in the mean time told me that StarForce are been used in a few games where I happen to played before.
According to BOYCOTTSTARFORCE, the starforce will trigger a windowsXP feature that will actually reduce the transfer rate of the drive from ULTRA DMA to the worst which is PIO. So following the site instruction, i removed the StarForce hidden driver. But the burner still slow as hell.
Then further questioning Google, there is a guy that come up with an idea to remedy this windowsXP "feature". This website list the whole story of this particular "feature" and remedy to it. And WALAH, my burner is able to burn at full speed again. Thanks "The DUCK" for its fantastic walkthrough.
Moral of the story, sometime technologies that is too "smart" will result in unwanted result.
